Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She's also a coach and instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media celebrity. The first female to win the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. She is also known for taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Since a young time, she was an avid sports fan and enjoyed exercising. She was awarded numerous medals at school events. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir is, in 2021, was age 31. She stands at 5'7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started CrossFit when she was in California. The first time she competed, she did very well and was ranked in the Top 10 out of 70. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished in seconds place and won the silver medal same year. As a result of her impressive performance, she was able to take home her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie became the very first woman to win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In 2014, Annie won a Silver Medal and, most recently in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is presently a coach and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration as well as Sidekick Yerbae.
