Silk was born Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is her father's daughter Peter Silk, a professor, and Ilkay who was a playwright as well as director who was also renowned as an actress. Anna recalls some of the earliest moments of her existence when she would go to watch her mother's performance in play rehearsals. Silk had a number of commercials where she was featured when she was young. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. She later, in the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles, California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an ActorsWorkshop held located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and they were married in a civil ceremony in December. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of their converted to Judaism.
