Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. She is primarily an actress, but she's also an acrobat and songwriter. Many people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. Although she's a singer, her primary passion is music. When she was nine years old of age, she was exploring music. The first time she began to study professional music when she was 12 years old. As a teenager, she started writing her own music. The album that she first released was released 14 years later. The music hasn't budged around ever since. Orrantia is a native American and has Hispanic roots. Although she was raised speaking exclusively English and has never lived in Mexico she is very satisfied with her Hispanic roots. She tries to maintain it through learning to speak Spanish and creating songs in the language. The singer recorded an Spanish version of the song entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Her YouTube video was selected and she received four "yeses", or votes by the judges at the Seattle audition. She initially auditioned to be a part of "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. Three female singers along with her were grouped together to perform other music. The group was eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
